With this statement Jamie summarises his intent as he takes his hairdressing career to a new level with the opening of his salon in Cliff Road, Hornsea. Hairdressing has been Jamie's passion since leaving school back in 1998 and he soon made his mark on his chosen profession when he went on to win the title of British Junior Stylist at the British Hairdressing Business Awards just one year later in 1999.

After spending over five years overseas Jamie returned to Hornsea and soon established a loyal and firm client base and then became probably Hornsea's most well known mobile hairdresser. Nearly three years later he decided to take the next step and to open his own salon appropriately named as 'Jamie Goodlass Hairdressing.' This latest venture enables him to pass on his knowledge, skills and experience to staff members allowing more clients to enjoy better hair.

In his business he is introducing new developments to make the whole experience more relaxing and he is now licensed to offer his clients a complimentary alcoholic drink*, along with tea, coffee and soft drinks. Along with this desire to make hairdressing a pleasurable experience Jamie is pleased to be the first salon in Hornsea to introduce La-Brasiliana Keratin Treatment with Collagen. Keratin is a natural substance that is the primary protein of hair, skin and nails. It gives the hair the natural ability to return to its original healthy, shiny and smooth state while the collagen improves the elasticity of the hair and it does all this without damage or change to the molecular structure of the hair.

Jamie is also pleased that along with his usual colour brand he is now offering the first ever permanent hair colour that comes recommended by dermatologists . This colour is particulary designed for clients with sensitive scalps as it is amonia free, odour free and fragrance free. Jamie is pleased to welcome to the salon local stylist Vicki Booth who has ten years' experience and is qualified to Advanced NVQ Level Three and is also a qualified assessor in hairdressing.
